My name is Candy and I am a small breeder of home raised Canadian kennel Club Registered Toy Poodles, located near Rocky Mountain House Alberta. I began my journey as a poodle breeder in 2000, after my parents little apricot girl passed away. My intentions’ were to only have one litter to give my mom a new baby, but with this first litter I was amazed with all the excitement and deviation that are involved in breeding these precious babies. My poodles are my babies and they are treated that way, they have free run of my house and even sleep in my bed, they are NOT KENNELED.
CKC Breed Standards: All poodles 10 inches or smaller at the highest point of the shoulders and weight is 2½ to 7 lbs are the Toy breed. The very tiny poodles are also referred to as "Teacup Poodles" — these are not a separate breed. All Toy breeds make good companions for adults, but given their small stature and weight, they are not the ideal family dogs when small children are present. Many are fragile and cannot withstand rough handling.
Puppies are sold on non-breeding contracts to approved homes only. I reserve the right to refuse to sell one of my puppies to anyone I don't feel comfortable selling to, as it is my responsibility to make sure my puppies go to good homes where they will be cared for and maintained in the manner in which they are used to. All dogs / puppies are to be provided with regular vet care, proper nutrition and socialization at all times.
